  1. Despite it being one fo the coldest months of the year January has a few tasks you can complete in the garden.

    Mainly lifting and dividing any herbaceous perennials that desparately need it. This is also a good way to get new plants from old plants which you can then plant elsewhere or give to friends.

    Also january is a good time to prune plants in the garden.
